My son brought me a news paper article about this train.
It turns out it is used to to smooth the rails using a grinder.
What I thought were flames underneath the train were actually
sparks. The grinder is used to remove cracks in the rails so they don't
grow bigger. It goes 6 to 10 miles an hour when smoothing.

This train was going very slow, I don't know what it does but it looks like is cleaning or conditioning the track area with the flames, if any one knows please fill me in.
