This Osprey nest is the biggest nest I have ever seen, 5 to 6 feet across. I had to climb a steep hillside covered with thorny weeds in shorts and a pair of sandals, carrying my tripod and camera to get as close as I could to the nest. Did I mention it was 95 out. Any way I had never seen an osprey nest before so it was well worth it. Really wished I had a good quality long lens at times like these.
